Top AM LAW 50 Firm

Modernizing Collaboration and Driving Pro Bono Contribution.

Our customer is a leader in the AM Law 50, whose clients are market leaders, global innovators, and paradigm-shifting entrepreneurs that advance emerging industries. Founded in Manhattan in 1866, the firm has annual revenue in excess of 1.6 billion, with over 3,000 employees working globally on some of today's most prestigious matters in capital markets and international business law.

CloudScale worked with this firm to transform internal collaboration through an innovative new intranet. We also worked with the firm to create a new pro bono contribution and mentoring platform that enables focus and tracking of community and pro bono contributions.

Vision is Everything

Driven by innovation. Compelled by diversity and community.

Over 100 years old, this prestigious global firm sought to bring its image to the next generation workforce in a modern and focused manner. With outdated systems, many manual processes, and information sprawl, the firm needed branding and system updates. In addition, the firm's intranet lacked the functionality required to support the employees' specific needs. Worse, lack of access to firm resources from home meant collaboration was impossible in this hybrid work environment. There was no enterprise-wide search, metadata classifications, or indexing of firmwide content, meaning employees performed many duplicate efforts during routine content creation activities.

This firm needed a complete reimagining of how the employees would work and set out on a journey to define the user experience for the next ten years. CloudScale started by designing an in-depth vision for the future of the firm's core collaboration experiences. CloudScale performed a gap analysis of existing capabilities and developed an iterative phased approach to modernizing the firm's employee experiences. We started with the intranet, where we proposed a transformative set of employee experiences to break down information and collaboration silos, ushering in seamless collaboration on work experience for all areas of the firm's legal practices and executive teams.
